Welcome to the official Chinese web site for the
Registered Financial Planners Institute (RFPI).
The RFP Institute was formed in 1983 in the United
States of America, and is a prestigious professional
body in financial planning industry throughout the
world. It has first established the use of
designations of RFP Registered Financial Planner and
SRFP Senior Registered Financial Planner worldwide.
RFP and SRFP is the Trademark registered throughout
USA, Hong Kong and registration currently pending in
China.
The Institute represents members and students in
more than twenty countries around the world and
provides a qualification and continuous professional
development for those who want to become financial
planners.
The Institute is pleased to welcome to the RFPI
International management team; Mr. Eric Au, as newly
appointed RFPI Director and coordinator overseeing
the development of the New RFPI China Development
Center in association with our strategic alliance,
Sunlord China Holdings Ltd., in Greater China
region. Mr. Au has many years of experience as an
advisor and consultant in the China business market
and we are highly confident his leadership skills
and business knowledge will be beneficial to all
financial planning professionals in Greater China
region. Mr. Au's hard work and dedication to the
business industry represents true professionalism
and we wish to commend him for recognizing the
importance of providing professional education and
training for those individuals in financial planning
industry.
In setting regional standards for professional
excellence in China, we hope to provide a platform
where Chinese financial practitioners can gain the
skills, and achieve the necessary professionalism
and personal competence as they proceed towards
further career advancement. We also offer those who
are interested in pursuing a career within the
financial planning industry a comprehensive program
of high quality professional training, practice and
examinations which aim to assist individuals achieve
their own professional goals within the industry.
Meanwhile, we have great interest to associate with
all Chinese institutions to develop and raise
standards of financial planning in China.

To promote professionalism in financial planning for
the benefit of the public values by designation of
Registered Financial Planner through certification
of education, examination, experience, licensing and
adherence to ethical standards.

Our History
The Institute (RFPI) was formed in 1983 with its
headquarters located in Ohio, U.S.A. It is an independent self regulatory professional organization for providing education and membership in financial planning field. It has first established the use of
designations of "RFP Registered Financial Planner"
and "SRFP Senior Registered Financial Planner" in
the world.
RFP® was first used in commerce in 1983, filed in
the United States Patent and Trademark Office in
1987 and registered under the exclusive right in
1988.
The Institute is dedicated to promoting
professionalism in financial planning, and has
become a prestigious global organization with
members worldwide in Canada and Europe from a US
local professional body through setting and
improving international standards for RFP
certification.
The Institute launched the Asia-Pacific market in
the late twentieth century, and afterward registered
RFP and SRFP marks by the Trade Marks Registry,
Intellectual Property Department in Hong Kong.
The institute has authorized Sunlord China Holdings
Limited as Strategic Alliance in Greater China
region since 2004 to manage RFPI Asia Operations and
China Development Center and operate RFPI official
Chinese web site for providing RFP professional
education programs and designation in Greater China.

Mr. Schreiber is a Founder member of RFPI, the present President of RFPI International Headquarters, and Chairman of RFPI International Board of Standards. He has founded and operated over 10 businesses successfully in the past 35 years. He has taught Economics, Real Estate, Appraising, and Financial Planning throughout USA. He is also presently President and CEO of the National Residential Appraisers Institute in the USA. He enjoys business consulting, teaching, fishing, boating and is known to sing a song or two at Karaoke.

Mr. Eric Au
Mr. Au is Director and Authorized Representative in Greater China Region of RFPI, and CEO of RFPI Asia Operations and China Development Center. He is also Executive Director of Sunlord China Holdings Ltd., and Chairman of Sunlord Financial Consulting Group in mainland China. He earned several international prestigious designations in financial field, mainly including RFP® Registered Financial Planner, RFC® Registered Financial Consultant, CFC® Certified Financial Consultant, CWM™ Chartered Wealth Manager, and others. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Financial Management (FAAFM), and Fellow of the Institute of Financial Consultants (FIFC), USA & Canada.

The Center was officially formed in 2004 in association with RFPI
Strategic Alliance in Greater China, Sunlord China Holdings Limited,
with registered office in Hong Kong and representative offices in
Shanghai and Shenzhen.
As RFPI Director and Authorized Representative in Greater China
Region, Mr. Eric Au is appointed and authorized to manage the Center
under the RFPI Board. Mr. Au has many years of experience as an advisor and consultant in the China business market and earned several international prestigious designations in financial field.
